The team applies a long-term approach, fundamentally oriented view towards constructing and managing the portfolio which includes investments with a limited number of third-party managers. Black Hook also seeks to purchase limited partner and general partner interests from investors seeking to exit private equity and hedge fund stakes before they are fully liquidated.

Black Hook has investment structure flexibility and invests in control buyouts, significant minority or structured equity. Unlike traditional private equity funds, we have the flexibility to hold investments for the long-term, if that is right for the company and management. We target defensible businesses in growing markets with tangible performance opportunities.
